Gambia is one of the smallest countries of West Africa, with a population of 2.5 million. The children in Gambia move from one place to the other, without fear of being raped. They walk unaccompanied along the streets and major roads.

They ride their bicycles on the streets and major roads. In this festive period, children are on a holiday break. They walk outside – some in groups, some alone – in celebration of Christmas. They beat their drums on the streets of Gambia to celebrate Christmas.
