VISIT EMBASSIES OF COUNTRIES IN STRESSED RELATIONSHIPS

At Peace SOS we make appointments with embassies of countries involved in war. In these meetings we stress the need to:

1) protect citizens
2) solve violent conflicts diplomatically
3) provide citizens with humanitarian aid

The Peace SOS “method” is:

• prepare well, by:
  • reading reports of the United Nations and statements made by the United Nations, as well as newspaper articles about the conflict
  • talking with citizens who are living in the country involved in war or who have fled that country
    listen to what the representative of the embassy has to say
• pay respect to the representative of the embassy
• asking what we can do to help to solve the violent conflict
