VISIT EMBASSIES OF COUNTRIES IN STRESSED RELATIONSHIPS
Peace SOS engages in dialogue with embassies of countries affected by armed conflict. These visits aim to promote diplomatic solutions, protect civilians, and encourage humanitarian support.
Our approach is grounded in careful preparation, respectful conversation, and a shared commitment to peace.
At Peace SOS we make appointments with embassies of countries involved in war. In these meetings we stress the need to:
1) protect citizens
2) solve violent conflicts diplomatically
3) provide citizens with humanitarian aid
The Peace SOS “method” is:
- prepare well, by:
- reading reports of the United Nations and statements made by the United Nations, as well as newspaper articles about the conflict
- talking with citizens who are living in the country involved in war or who have fled that country
listen to what the representative of the embassy has to say
- pay respect to the representative of the embassy
- asking what we can do to help to solve the violent conflict
