Towards: A World in Which All Children Can Play

‘As a child, I always thought I could solve any conflict in the world. I thought that if you stood on a battlefield as an objective observer everyone would stop fighting for a moment to listen.
Knowing what I do today, I realise that no-one would care.
But people do care about their loved ones, stories told in the community about peace, and initiatives that affect people personally.
Peace is like sowing. Planting seeds in the hearts of children in schools and neighbourhoods.
But also ploughing up beliefs of hatred in adults and offering them alternatives for peace.
I want to contribute to planting seeds of peace. That is why I joined Peace SOS. To work together for a world where all children can play.’
