Towards: A World in Which All Children Can Play

Born on Pentecost in 1966, I believe in a greater Spirit, also the Spirit of Peace. For me peace is also connected to the earth and taking care of it, rather than ownership of land. War is often about claiming land and possession, but the earth and the life on it is something we need to take care of. I like to work in my allotment garden and I have the aspiration to help start a community garden in my hometown of Zutphen. I studied Geography of Developing Countries and I also have a broad view on spiritual, religious, social and peace issues. Sources of inspiration for me are Vandana Shiva, Mahatma Gandhi, and the principal of Buen Vivir of the Amazon and Andes indians. Their visions are leading for me in relation to peace on every scale.
