Towards: A World in Which All Children Can Play

Each life is precious. Each life tells a story - a story of how a family, a neighbourhood, or a larger community came together to provide it with comfort and care, to nurture it, and to keep it alive. While working with cancer patients for over a decade, I have witnessed the tireless efforts of countless people with limited resources striving to save every life.

This is also what Peace SOS strives to do. We cherish every life and work toward a better and fairer world for all. We are dedicated to advancing peace and human rights via peaceful means, and the fight against poverty - a more peaceful, just, and equitable world for everyone.

As an advisor at Peace SOS, I also advocate for disarmament, conflict prevention, and international security. My work focuses on promoting dialogue, raising awareness of the humanitarian consequences of weapons, and supporting efforts to reduce armed violence. I am committed to fostering cooperation, strengthening peacebuilding initiatives, and advocating for policies that contribute to a safer and more just world. Through education, outreach, and collaboration, I strive to help build a future in which conflicts are resolved through diplomacy rather than force.

I imagine a world where we listen to one another’s stories - stories of our being and our becoming; stories of our similarities and our differences. This is the only way to truly understand that what unites us is greater than what divides us.
