Massoud Yousufzai is a dedicated business consultant with a unique and powerful perspective on peace, conflict, and human resilience. His own life story is the driving force behind his commitment to a more just world.

As a child, Massoud lived for twelve years in the shadow of war. This experience, followed by his journey as a refugee to the Netherlands, gave him a profound understanding of the fragility of peace, the daily impact of conflict, and the remarkable resilience of people who continue to hope and rebuild despite all odds.

He combines this personal perspective with a strong professional background. With over 18 years of experience in financial services – 14 of which as an independent interim manager – Massoud has developed a sharp eye for the structures that make societies strong. He currently works as an ERP consultant at Solmate Group, where he implements complex financial systems for municipalities. His expertise in bridging the gap between processes and people, and his ability to connect, are put to daily use.

At Peace SOS, Massoud contributes his experience, network, and his unique perspective to support the organization's mission: promoting peace through peaceful means, human rights, and combating poverty. He strongly believes that true peace begins with listening to one another and recognizing shared humanity, in line with the Peace SOS philosophy of 'A world where all children can play.'

His motivation is rooted in the conviction that a better world is possible when we invest in dialogue and mutual understanding, and he is determined to contribute to a future where no one is left behind.
