I’m an Translator English at Peace SOS. I like to think of myself as a builder of bridges. I was born in London into an Indian family that had moved to the UK in the hope of a better life. I suppose today you’d call them economic migrants. My life experience has enabled me to understand what it must feel like to be considered an outsider, to be excluded. And isn’t this the essence of why wars are fought? Us and them, mine and thine. I hope to play my part in getting the message of Peace SOS across to as wide a public as possible so that we can make this movement grow into an idea whose time has come.
